In Social Studies we had to make a cave where the Cro-Magnons used to live. The Cro Magnons would live at the cave mouth, in a tent they would make out of animal hides. They could light fires in the cave to keep them warm. So as you can see a cave was very important to them! To make our cave we had to get a shoe box, and then we stapled the lid to the bottom of the actual box. And then we papier mache'd it so that it wasn't so square. After the mache dried, JJ and I painted it black, so it was a cave color! Now all we had to do was add in the utensils they would have in a cave. Those were: a fire, (we made a fire out of red and orange paper) and then we made Stone tools, (those were used for cutting meat or scraping hidex), ashes from the fire, and last, but not least, some animal bones, (those might have been used for necklases, or they could be just bones from an animal they ate!!!!!) When we put all those objects in, we had our-selves a mighty fine cave !!!
