The Story of Tea

The Chinese were the first ones to discover tea and use it for drinking. It all started thousands of years ago, when a man named Shen Nong, the founder of agriculture discovered the plant called tea. He was a sort of plant pioneer. He and his tribe wandered through the forest trying to find plants that were edible. (A legend says that he had see-through belly skin, so that he could see the food as he ate it.) One time when he was eating some plants, he accidently swallowed a poisonous plant. He started to get weak and also very dizzy so he started to look for a cure. He spotted a bush with little green leaves and he thought that it would cure him, so he ate it. After a few moments he felt well again. That's when the Chinese started using tea for drinking.
