A literary figure that shares my birthday is Edgar Rice Burrows. He was born in the year 1875 and his accomplishment was to invent Tarzan and to write a whole set of books about him. Another person who was born on my birthday is Gloria Estefan. She is a singer and has made many records.

EVENTS OCCURRING ON MY BIRTHDAY

Historical Events. In the year 1939 a very important and at the same time very horrible event occurred: Germany invaded Poland which turned out to be the start of World War II. Also on my birthday the wreck of one of the largest ships ever made was found. This ship was the Titanic. Musical Events. An important musical event the occurred on my birthday was that Elvis Presley had 29 albums and 9 singles in the UK Top 100 chart.

NOSTALGIA

When I was born the head secretary of the communist party (equivalent to president) was Mikhail Gorbachev.

Favorite Toys. One of my favorite toys was the obstacle pinball game in which you had to pass a ball through a set of obstacles while your opponents were rocking the surface the ball was on.

SUMMARY / EVALUATION

I enjoyed this project a lot even though it was sometimes hard to get information. By doing this project I learnt a lot of thing like how old I am in days and what the phase of the moon was when I was born I also found out about different events and people who share my birthday. I found this project relatively easy which made it a semi-fun task.
