My name is Yuko. My birthday is on August 14th 1989. I'm 10 years old and in and in days, (Today is 10/12) I'm 3737 days old. Do you think I am old? But I'm not old! The moon phase when I was born was 1.8 days before a full moon. I think I'm lucky because, just for fun I took a peek at the moon phase in year 2000`s August 14th, it was a new moon and I can't hardly see the moon phase. Do you want to know what Yuko means? Even you don't want to know I`ll still tell you. Yuko means " a kind girl ". This is a fun fact about my name. I hope you do. Do you know a song called "Ive Got you Babe"? It is an old song from 1965 but it was a very big hit and it started to sell on August 14th, my birthday. And do you know a movie called Titanic? I think you do. Well, the composer of the film's music is called James Honor. He was born on the same day as I was. I as glad that I have the same birthday as he does because I like to watch the video of "Titanic" Sports figures. Do you know a basketball player called Magic Johnson? He is a great basketball player and has the same birthday as me. And again, I am glad that I am born on August 14th because I love to play basketball.

NOSTALGIA

When I was born the Prime minister is Japan was Mr. Takeshita, and the Emperor was showa Tenno. Still showa Tenno is the Emperor of Japan. In America George Bush was the president but now it is Bill Clinton, but next year he is not going to be the president any more. I wander who it will be.

Favorite Toys. The toys I remember playing with it when I was a baby were, No.1: Sylvanian Families. These are dolls a house, which we can play with animal, dolls in it. No.2: Hello kitty. This is just a doll but I remember playing with it. No.3: Teddy bears: I use to sleep with them and I still have them.

SUMMARY / EVALUATION

I really enjoyed doing this research. I liked every thing I researched on and everything I researched on was the thing I didn't know. I didn't know that Magic Johnson was born on my birthday though I thought he was a great player and when I saw that he was born on the same birthday as I was, I was really glad that I had my birthday on August 14th. Next time I go in that site, I`ll not only look at my birthday but look at my friends and my families. And the best of all I now think those birthdays are important and also fun to have it.
