My Special Teachers
by Akie
I have two special people. They are both school assistant principals in Hong Kong. Their names are Mr. Mills and Mr. Woodford. They work in H.K.I.S (Hong Kong International School) which is my old school.
Mr. Woodtord has brown hair, a brown beard and a brown moustache and is chubby. He is pretty tall. Mr. Mills is tall, too but he is not chubby. He has blondish yellowish hair and walks like he is tip-toeing, only faster.
They are both very kind and funny. They are helpful and caring to others. They have very generous hearts.
Mr. Mills taught me and other kids extra hard things. We did a lot of hard work together throughout the year. But I only got to know him for a short time. Mr. Woodford knows me and my name, because he helped me when other teachers were planning about my upgrading. Mr. Mills helped, too. I thank them a lot.
Before I moved, Mr. Woodford gave me a box with white crinkled paper on it. Inside, there was a book with the same decoration. I used it as an autograph book. I just love it.
All the people doing the work with Mr. Mills participated in a competition called "Knowledge Master". I participated in the Winter competition and the Spring competition. In the Winter competition, we won. People from all over the world participated and we were the winner of all of them! I don't know the results of the Spring competition, because I moved.
Both Mr. Woodford and Mr. Mills are special people. They are kind and helpful, not only to me but to others as well. I love them with all my heart. I hope that I'll meet them again sometime!
My Special Friend
by Morgan
My special person is my best friend in California. Her name is Megan and she is a very special person in my life. I have known her since first grade. We met at Baskin Robbins (an ice cream parlour). My dad, my sister , and I were sitting behind Megan, her dad , her sister , and her brother Her sister stood up and accidently dropped her scooop of ice cream on my dad's head. We started talking and figured out Megan and I were going to the same school,we both were in first grade but we had different teachers. WeÕve been best friends ever since.
My friend Megan has an oval shaped head, with kind of a pointy chin. Her eyes are baby blue which reminds me of the ocean. They are shaped like sideways rain drops falling from the sky. Megan has a chubby nose with freckles all over it. Her ears are shaped like her head but much, much smaller. Megan's mouth is big and she has a beautiful smile. She has the prettest dirty blond hair. It's about an inch past her shoulders. Her hair shines with cleanliness. Megan's teeth are very straight, but there is a little gap between her two front teeth. Megan has fair skin but her cheeks are very rosy.
Once in second grade Megan, my old friend Caitlin and I wrote a book sixteen pages long called Mr. Bell the Christmas Grump. It was about two children named Chris and Angela. Chris was nine and Angela was was six, Their neighbor was Mr. Bell, and he hated Christmas, and he also mocked the Christmas Carollers. In the end he became nice and dressed up like Santa Claus and gives Angela and Chris Christmas presents. I'll never forget that! Megan is my best friend and my special person.
My Special Uncle
by Gregory
My special person is my great uncle. We used to call him uncle Kuspate but he died when he was only eighty-four. He really loved children but he lived alone and got very lonely.
He had grey hair, he was very tall and liked looking very smart. He liked exploring his back yard because it was bigger than a couple of football pitches, and was full of animals and trees. He also liked looking after his garden.
When I was four I went and visited him in Sydney, Australia. When we were there we went to the zoo for my brother's birthday. I still remember some of the animals that where there and they are very good memories. I also went to the biggest aquarium in Australia, and I went on a monorail.
But after I was four I never saw him again. And I wish I had because he was a very nice person.
