My Special Grandmother
by Abhishek
My grandmother is a special person for me, I only see her every summer holiday when she comes to holland. My grandmother lives in India which is far away from Holland. When I go to India and meet her we play games and she tells me many interesting stories. When I go to sleep she sings me a sparrow song. My grandmother is short, only five feet tall, her hair is dark brown and she is in her sixties, she has brown eyes and her skin is light brown.
My grandmother plays many games. She plays some games like rummy quite well. When we go shopping we always buy lots of sweets.
My grandmother is really kind and has a generous heart. She especially helps the poor. Sometimes I think of my grandmother and want terribly to meet her but then I must wait quite a long time for holidays.
My Special Father

My special person is my father. He is very kind and very funny. He likes playing with my sister and me.
My father is an international banker and is very good at maths .He has got black hair and brown eyes with a little bit of green. He lives with me, my sister and my mother. He usually is away but comes back as soon as he can. I like playing with him because when I do so l have so much fun.
He bought a new computer for the family to use. When he comes back from work, I run to meet him. Then we play and eat together. There are so many nice things he does with me that nobody could write them all.
A Special Person
by Erol
My heroine is Mrs. Armstrong Law. She is my heroine because she helped the International School of Amsterdam a lot and she was the one who made it possible for us to come to this very nice school campus. We are very happy with the new building and all the new sports facilities as well. She is a very good example for all of the children at the school.
From time to time she came up to our classes like Mrs. Snowball does to look at the work we were doing or maybe for a special project that we were doing. Once we were working on our presentations where we had to represent the country we came from but Diana and Saori did a presentation about China even though they didn't come from the country. Our teacher called Evelyn said that it would be nice if they did a presentation about China so they did.
We were making these books containing certain information about the presentations and about the people who did the presentations. Mrs. Armstrong Law came with some third graders and with Mrs. Snowball so the third graders could tell us how important the books were in third grade. I think she liked us a lot.
Everyone liked her but unfortunately she had to leave the school and go back to America. She left year ago when I was in the fourth grade. She had light brown hair which was down to her shoulders. She had blue eyes. She didn't need glasses to see but for reading close she had glasses. She always dressed up like a business woman with all sorts of different suits. She was about 1 meter 65 tall and she was thin.
