I remember my four vacations. First, I'll start with my first one in Spain.
I went to Spain in July, 1995 for two weeks. When we got there, it was boiling. People spoke Spanish. We went to thirteen different cities. I enjoyed the beach. The weather was super!
The problem I had in Spain was food poisoning. My parents couldn't call to the clinic because they coudn't speak Spanish. But a few days later I got better. After the illness we only had few days left so we used them wisely. It was great because the weather never changed and we learned about different cultures because it was our first summer vacation in Europe!
For my second vacation. my family and I travelled to the Czech Republic.
When we got there, we bought hot dogs to make sure that our tummies were full. Then we saw my third grade teacher in the cathedral and took two pictures. After this, we crossed a bridge and we walked along the streets. Our legs were hurting a little bit and we felt tired. After this long walk, we went back to hotel. We woke up at 7:00 a.m. to go to the King's Palace. It was crowded and huge. We had a good time and left. The unusual thing I saw was people eating bread with only honey!
My third vacation in Europe was also my first ime skiing on the mountains.
We went to Austria at 1:00p.m. It took us a day to get to Austria. Luckily, we didn't have to spend our time looking for a room because papa had already reserved a big room for us. We were only skiing for two days but we stayed there for three days. It was super!
On my last vacation I'll tell you about. we went to the U.K. for two days. We bought lots of bags of chips and I bought a board game. We travelled through eight cities. One of the cities I liked was Bath. They had Roman baths and the water was hot and looked green. In Bleheim Palace, we listened to the guide. I didn't like the guide but I had to keep my mouth shut. I was glad when the guide finished talking. When I looked around I saw lots of jewels in the chamber. It was beautiful. The next day, we went to Windsor to shop. It was super! We left the U.K. at half past six by the channel. (Le Shuttle).
