Houses in Different Climates

Cold Climates

In cold climates you can find igloos. These are made of blocks of snow. You can also have a window that is made out of clear ice. On top of the igloo you have a vent, this is there to let fresh air through. The igloo is a half circle with a rectangular entrance. We wouldn't like to live in one because it seems too cold.

Hot Climates

In hot climates houses are made out of mud and the roofs are made out of sticks. This protects it from the heat. These are called Bomas if they are in a circle. It has a cylinder shaped base out of mud , the roof is made out of sticks with a pointed top. It looks good but we wouldn't like to live in one, because it is too dirty.

Tropical Climates

In tropical climates houses are made otr of sticks and other things you find in the forests. It has a rectangular living space and a triangular prism shaped roof. We wouldn't like to live in it because all the bugs would come inside.
