Building our House

Step By Step Instructions:

1. Place big rectangle #1 on the table. This is your base.
2. Take four small rectangles. Place them on the table 2x2. Make two of them.
3. Place a piece of tape on the pieces to hold them together.
4. Now take two small rectangles. Place one on top of the other. Make two of them.
5. Tape them to hold them together.
6. Now you should have two 2x2 and two 2x1.
7. Take one of the 2x2 and one of the 2x1 and tape the sides together.
8. Do the same with the other two.
9. Now you should have a box with no top or bottom. Tape the base to the box.
10. Take the two other big rectangles and place them at a right angle. This is your roof.
11. Tape them in this direction.
12. Now tape the roof to the box.
13.Now you will notice that you have a house, but the house does not have sides to the roof.
14. Take one of the triangles and one of the trapezoids.
15. Put one triangle on one trapezoid and if it is the right way they match perfectly together.
16. Do that one more time.
17. Put the two newly made triangles in the holes on the side of the roof.
18.Now your house is complete.
19.But there isn't enough shapes. We added on a chimney.
20.Take two of the three squares
21. In the middle of the house put one on each side. Tape them there.
22. Take the last square and place it on top.
23. Tape it there.
Now you have a completed home.

The house is rectangular with a sloping roof. It is designed for S. England or the Netherlands where it rains a lot so the roof won't leak.
