One night I was in my bed sleeping. Then came the bad boy, my brother came in to my room. And he was the brother who always makes me cry.

I was just pretending to sleep so he would go away from my room. Then ÔOHHHHHHHHCH' my brother jumped on me so hard, that I got flat. I became thin as a paper,and I was 26 cm. only. The body didn't feel so hurt, but the body itself was all different. I wanted to cry.

"Look what you did to me!" I was more angry, because I was planning to go to my cousin Jin young in Korea for a vacation. But I was flat I couldn't face them with me being all flat.

Then mom said, "That's rather good! You can go to Korea in an envelope. A better prize, and you can also meet your family. We'll put you in a huge envelope." I couldn't believe that my mom said that. I thought my brother would get into big big trouble.

Well, unless I can go to Korea for sure. Am I happy, or sad? I didn't have a clue. My mom sent me to Korea the following day with a sandwich for snack. My cousin know about me in a flat body--so I was setting off!

Day 1

Finally! I went to my home family. My cousins were all grown up,and the day after I've been there I went to my cosin Jin young's school. That day was the first day after the long winter break.

I got introduced to her friends. They were all happy to meet me. And she was very happy,and so was I.

It was the second day of winter break,so my cousin took me to her friend's house,and we all played the famous game 'DDR''. ÔDDR' is a shortened word for dance dance revolution,so it was really fun for us ,and I could have a dance. It's a thing which has a song and you have to dance in a foot pad. It was really fun.

At the night my cousin and her little brother Jin Suk played their instruments. Jin Young played the flute like me and her little brother played the piano. He was in the 3rd grade and he played the piano really well. And she also played well. I learned the pop songs which had the greatest hits. They were all the names that I had never heard of. She sang all the songs for me and I changed my clothes. I had a white sweater but she changed me into a purple sweater and green pants instead of black pants. I really liked it.

Tomorrow is the New Year of Korea,and I really am excited. She made me a really beautiful Korean costume,and it was the same as the one I left in Holland. GOOD NIGHT!!!!!

Day 2

After a long long sleep, we set off to grandma's house. I also got to dress up in the Korean traditional costume because today was the New Years Day. It was in February like the Chinese New Year's Day, but we also celebrated the New Year's Day in the first day of the year. My grandma gave us money to start a great New Year's Day. Yeah! I was kind of older than the others so I got the most money then the others.

As the traditional custom, we bowed to the ancestors(also to my grandma) (Sitting down ,slowly.) So that's how we got the money. My little 4 cousins bowed. And they were so cute!!!!

The break feast was a soup called Ôman do kok'. I ate 1 bowl of it, so I was 13 years old. (You get a year older when you eat 1 bowl, so if you eat 2 bowls then you are 2 years older). So Jin young was 12 years old! All the family came to grandma's house, and we chatted and all the kids played in the other room.

All the adults gave the children great words for the new year. We got words like "Do as good as before" (hahahaha) We had a great time in grandma's house,and we also went to the ancestors,and we went back to the house.I can't wait to the next day. Wonder how it'll be.

Day 3

The next morning the whole world became white. My cousin was very excited, and we decided to go out and have fun. The view from outside was really beautiful. We did snow fight, and it was so fun. Yeah!, right on the leg! It was so so so fun. We made snowman, and we also made angels. We rolled over the white snow, and I was enjoying the fun.

At lunchtime we ate out yummy supper, and she took me to the tae kwon do place. That's a place where we do things, like judo. My other small cousin studied tae kwon do, so we could always go there. Tae kwon do is a famous sport and many Korean boys know how to do that sport. It was fun to watch.

I saw my cousin's friend Een Hyung showing us her talented form of tae kwon do. I also got to try, but I couldn't break the wood like Een Hyoung did. She was sure good.

We stayed there for the whole evening, and I also tried what they were doing. After the long sports time we had our delicious dinner which was so so yummy after the sport.

Tomorrow I'm going back home. It was so fun staying in Korea for a short time, but a fun time. I have so much to tell mom and dad, and in the summer my mom promised me to come to Korea again just that I'm not flat, and that time I'm going to be with my family.

I came back home after a long trip, and I loved the trip. I told everything which happened to me and all of our family got so bored hearing me. Just than, my brother found the bicycle pump, and finally got me back to life. I had a great time, and I really enjoyed the time in Korea.
