Flight Description

Day Three

Today we planned to fly to Riverton.

We flew at 2000 feet. The weather was foggy and there could be a storm later on in the day.

We flew over a swamp and over the sea. The fog blocked our view a bit. We heard on the radio that if we were within 100 miles of The Lost Sea we had to look for a ship wreck. We then had to land at Riverton.

We were lucky because we were going to Riverton anyway. We flew without the co-pilot. The flight was rough because of the wind. The waves at sea were wonderful: white foam sat on top of the waves that crashed onto the shore. The shore was deserted. A few plastic bags blew across the sand. There were big black clouds. Rain battered down on the windows.

As we reached Riverton the clouds cleared and we landed safely. We lodged at a hotel facing The Lost Sea. We woke up the next morning ready for whatever might happen that day.
