Flight Description : Day Three

Dilli! Dilli! Oh What? I got up. What time was it? I looked at my watch. The alarm was ringing. I stopped it. Phew. We weren't late this time! I started to plan our flight for today. Then I heard a knock on the door. "Come on! Get up! Or are you awake?" It was Greg. "Yes, Yes." I started to change.

It looked cold today, so I wore my warmest sweater. I took all my stuff and opened the door. Greg was wearing a big sweater too. "We might have a problem today." I said. It looks like it might rain." "Well, just relax and enjoy your flight" Greg said. We went to the dining room and started eating.

"Where should we go today?" I asked, getting out my map. "Well we have to wait until the people finish the repairs" said Greg. "The man said it'll take at least half a day. Let's wait in the game centre nearby."

We paid and started to walk down the road - there we were at the centre - Game King it said. There were only a few people there, but there were all sorts of games! I went on the car race first, while Greg sat down at a table and planned our route. When I was done with the game I went to the table. "Don't you think we should go to Riverton?" he asked. "It's pretty close." "OK," I said. I went back to play on Street Fighters II.

Five hours passed. I had played 13 games, and won three of them. Greg played 13 games and won four of them. It didn't matter - Greg wasn't too good at games anyway. "It's almost time,"I said, out of breath. "OK," Greg answered, gathering his stuff. "Let's go buy something at McDonald's."

We got out of the centre and went on the bus to the airport. On the way we started fighting about what we should buy. Int the end, we decided to buy 9 chicken nuggets, 2 hamburgers and 3 French fries. We jumped off the bus at the airport and went to McDonald's. We bought our nuggets, hamburgers, fries and sodas.

We then went to check our plane. "It's repaired," the man said. "No more problems." "Thank you very much." we said and hopped on board, glad to see it again. I started the engine, waving goodbye to the men. Greg started eating his burger. I started to drink some soda.

An hour later when we had finished our meal, we heard a sudden cry from beside me. "What was that?" I asked with a frown. I looked out the window. "Aaah!" I cried. "Look! A bird! A bird on our propeller!" "So that's why the plane was slowing down," Greg said. "I thought something was happening." "What shall we do?" I asked. "We shall go to the nearest city," he replied. "Small Town."

I changed direction. "But there are some mountains nearby" I said, "We'll crash." "Just try," Greg said. After a while we came across the mountains. I tried to go as high as I could. We flew like that for an hour, with Greg shouting what to do. And, to our relief, we got to Small Town. We landed without any trouble. I stayed while Greg went to look for someone to repair the propeller. It was midday. We thought we'd have a nice rest before dinner, but we were forgetting about something: "Our hotel", Greg yelled. "We haven't reserved." "We'll call one then," I said.

He took out his hotel list and called one nearby. We got there in 10 minutes and checked in. We went to our rooms and I started to play with my Gameboy. Next door I could hear Greg snoring. That bothered me and I lost my game. That was it! I wasn't playing anymore! I took a shower and went to eat. I ate a lot. By the time I was done, I felt like I was exploding. I went back breathless. I lay down on the couch and fell off to sleep. Please let it be a good day tomorrow, I prayed.
