Yesterday the biggest disaster in Saoirse's history struck. The first earthquake since the split . It all happened within 20 seconds but the after shocks went on for about 1 hour.

The quake was centred around the capital city of Britta but the after shocks went on for miles and miles.

The people of Britta have been assigned into different schools and youth hostels that were not burnt or broken down by the quake.

People died in the quake and there are 67 very badly injured. The President is going around all the hospitals visiting all his sick people.

The Minister of Health said, "The people of Britta have basically just lost their lives all their houses, cars, belongings and some have even lost their families. This is why we have decided to give them another allowance for their houses and their belongings".
