Linoleum Prints

These masks are linoleum prints based on Tanzanian wooden masks.
Students could choose to draw one of two masks. They then had to use
positive and negative imaging to cut out the linoleum with special
tools. Earlier in the year, when we visited the Escher exhibition,
students focused on graphical designs. |
