Russia

The climate in Russia is cold and very tough. The winter is long and the summer is short and cool. In Spetember we will have to take some warm clothes because it is the beginning of their autumn.

The major cities on longitude 100 are Tura, Brask, and Angarsk.

Most of the area is forests. In the north there is tundra and a small part of completely barren land which is a land which is not fertile and nothing grows on it because of the cold.

The natural hazzards are wild beasts and the risk of freezing. The language we will have to speak will be Russian. The national foods include hot brown bread, soups, borscht, chicken, cheese, vegetables and fish.

Russia is a democracy. The parliament, called the "Duma", consists of 450 members and the president is Boris Yeltsin.
