Thailand

The capital of Thailand is Bangkok which also has an international school like ours. Thailand is 198,500 square miles. The population is about 66 million.

Thailand is a constitutional monarchy. The language is Thai, but they also speak English and Chinese. The money is called "baht". You must have a valid passport and a visa to enter the country.

Thailand has a tropical climate. There is malaria so you should take anti-malaria pills. Travellers should dress in light clothes.

There are many different kinds of food in Thailand including rice, seasoned meats, fish, fruits and vegetables.

Our trip took us through the cities of Mae Sot, Lampang and Sri Satchanalai.
