Bolivia

The official language of the country is Spanish although there are other languages as well. The money used is called Boliviano. Bolivia is a democracy and the captial city is La Paz. The president is General Hugo Banzer.

The landscape is called the Chaco, a hot, dry, uninhabited plain along the Paraguayan and Argentine borders.. We do not go through any major cities on our longitude.

During September for out trip the lowest temperature is 6 degrees Celsius and the high is around 22 degrees. We will bring trousers, t-shirts sweatshirts and proper shoes and a sweater for when we are travelling at higher altitudes.

It is recommended to have a yellow fever vaccination before coming to Bolivia.
