Guyana

The national language of Guyana is English although there are some local languages as well. The money used is called Guyana dollars.

The president of the country is Samual Hinds and it is a democracy.. The natural vegetation is thick rain forest and grassland.

In the country we do not visit any major cities. The temperature in September is low 7 degrees Celsius and a high of 23 degrees Celsius. We will wear shorts and t-shirts and have a sweatshirt with us in case it gets cool.

It was recommended that we have yellow fever vaccination before visiting Guyana.
