Ghana

When we arrived in Ghana it was raining but we had not packed any rain clothes. The people were very nice and we had to change our money into Cedi's, the money of Ghana.

Our Guidebook: If you travel to Ghana you must have a visa to enter the country. To visit any country in Africa you must have a number of vaccinations including the yellow fever vaccination. It is also advised to take malaria pills before and during your trip to Africa.

If you are going to Ghana you should take clothes in case it rains. The people speak Akan and many other languages. Some of the cities to visit are Accra, Kumasi and the old forts along the coast. Ghana used to be called the Gold Coast because there was a lot of gold found there. Today one of the most important crops is cocoa.
