Great Britain
The preparations were the most difficult. First, we took a ferry to England and rented a car. We went to Lincoln, Oxford and London. In Lincoln we saw a beautiful cathedral. We stayed there one night. That night was horrible. There were strange noises and slow footsteps and we couldn't sleep.
We drove our car to Oxford. There we bought a lot of dictionaries in a bookshop. We wanted to see the Beatles in Liverpool but we didn't have time because we still had six more countries to visit.
Before going to France we went to London to shop. There I bought my favorite Harrod's bear. We didn't know how to pack because there were too many things to fit in. We already had dictionaries and guidebooks and maps. Finally it all fit in.
Our Guidebook: If you are going to England it is rainy all year round so I advise you to take a raincoat. If you are an optimist, you can take summer clothes. You do not need a visa and no vaccinations are required. If you want to take your car to London, we don't think you should be cause the city is very big and you can easily get lost while driving.
