Australia

After a week of roughing it in The Phillapines and Indonesia, we treated ourselves to a seafood dinner and a night at the architecturally famous Sydney Opera House.

The following days we spent scuba diving off the Great Barrier Reef in Northeastern Australia. Nicky went in a shark cage and had a close encounter with a great white shark. Here is a link to more information on sharks from National Geographic.

Because we could not bear the thought of the freezing cold of Antarctica, we took the first flight back to The Netherlands.
