This is our project for "Pole to Pole". We were given a line of longitude, 60 degrees West. We "traveled" through the countries listed below. You are probably wondering why this project is called "Pole to Pole". This is because we "travel" from the North Pole to the South Pole. We didn't research these two poles because nobody lives there permanantly.

To complete this project we had to find out the following information about each country: the flag, the climate and vegitation, kind of government, types of clothing suitable for visitors, major cities on our chosen longitude, natural hazards which we might face (including diseases), languages we need to be able to communicate with the people in these countries, food we will eat, and the type of money we will need to have. We hope you will enjoy reading about the countries we "visited".

[Greenland] [Canada] [Guyana] [Brazil] [Bolivia]
[Paraguay] [Argentina] [Falkland Islands]
